Mountain Football League (U6-U8)

Our Mountain Football 6th to 8th grade is run in conjunction with local club Onehunga Sports. This league is often the first experiences with club football, we aim to provide a safe, enjoyable experience for our future Mountain stars.

The grade you register your child in is the age they will turn in 2024 (8 years old in 2024 will be 8 thgrade). Depending on numbers there may be slight changes to this but we will let you know after registration.

Game Day

Games are usually at 8.30 or 9.15 on Saturday mornings, in addition to once-a-week training.

The games will either be played at Mangere Mountain or Onehunga Sports.

Academy

The Mountaineers Academy is a stand-alone weekly training with dedicated session leadersoverseen by OFC licensed coaches. Specific, age-appropriate content is delivered to Academy participants in a fun, enjoyable environment to increase their understanding, confidence and mastery of the game.

Dates

The season starts on Saturday 27 April 2024 and will continue until the 21st of September. Gameswill be scheduled for each Saturday except on 1 June (KBD weekend) and 13 July (school holidays).

Fees

The fee for the 2024 winter season for U7-U8 grades is $125.

The fee for the 2024 winter season for U6 $95.
